- No solvents, flammable of explosive substances, corrosives or oxidising agents allowed on display

- Microorganisms (bacteria and fungi)
- Animals
- Poisonous plants
Management
- No animals alive or dead
- No poisonous plants
- Food substances must be in an enclosed container
- Any food substances containing to be clearly labelled
Electrical equipment
Risks
- Uncertified equipment
- Exposed electrical circuitry
Management
- No uncertified or modified electrical equipment to be able to be plugged in to mains supply
- Operating electrical equipment that is self contained may not exceed 12 volts
Student behaviour

- Injury to students
- Damage of exhibits

- No running in the exhibit area
- follow staff instructions
- wear footware at all times
- no food and drink in the exhibit area
